Manitoba held a new immigration draw on 2022-01-27.

MPNP invited 315 candidates through the three Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs).

Below is the number of invitations issued for each program, as well as the minimum score line based on the province’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system.

  • Skilled Workers in Manitoba — 212 invitations with a minimum score of 609;
  • Skilled Workers Overseas — 63 invitations with a minimum score of 703; and
  • International Education Stream — 40 invitations with no score requirement.

Of these invitations, 69 were issued to candidates in the Express Entry System. If those invited candidates receive the nomination, they will get additional 600 points to their EE score.

Candidates will have 60 days from the date of received a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) to submit a complete application.

Although the draw score of MPNP has increased since the beginning of 2022 compared to last year, the latest draw score even reached the high score of 609, but don’t worry too much, According to the EOI system, According to the EOI, the job offer from the employer is already worth 500 points, so as long as applicants have a job that meets the immigration requirements, and then add other points such as education, language, work experience, age, etc., the applicants can easily achieve a score of 600 points or more. Therefore, compared with other provinces such as Ontario and BC, MPNP is just like immigration benefits, and the minimum EOI score is like nothing.
